Blofield Parish Council

A Parish Council is the lowest tier of local government. It is made up of elected volunteer councillors who make decisions on behalf of the community. The Parish Clerks are paid officers employed by the council who provide administrative support and legal advice.

Responsibilities:

• Bus shelters

• Allotments

• Village signs

• Village clock

• Public seating / benches

• Litter and dog bins

• Grit bins

• General upkeep of the parish including, but not limited to: grass verges, Churchyard maintenance, Marty's Marsh, Blofield Park, Town Pit Pond.

• Assessing planning applications.

• Support and promoting our Neighbourhood Plan through local projects.
